Each Chronicle is written and designed to meet specific client aims. Some have been fun and aimed at the next generation, others have taken a more formal approach. All were professionally printed and bound to be treasured as private coffee table books.

This lived history unfolded during the course of 20 hours of interviews. It starts overseas as told by a husband and wife who grew up in Holland, and includes photos and recollections about the large families they grew up in. Frank was stationed in Indonesia during World War II, and subsequently spent several years driving trucks through Europe; Maria trained as a midwife and helped many couples birth healthy babies. They each migrated to New Zealand at around the same time and met through mutual friends, quickly falling in love and marrying. Together they raised a close family while running a series of small businesses.
This story starts with two separate journeys of a husband and wife who each had a first marriage and children before meeting later in life. They ran several successful businesses together and then retired to a small town where they remained active in their community and had a number of travel adventures along the way.

Pre-wedding interviews explored the couple’s relationship and proposal story, and their future plans. Additionally, an interview booth was set up at the wedding for guests to share their thoughts about the couple and the wedding, and to impart any advice for the future. Speeches were audio recorded and transcribed (with a bit of light editing) for the book. Wedding photographs are contained throughout.
The title of this 50th Birthday Celebration Chronicle was themed on the Tui Billboards ad campaign. Based on short conversations with family members and friends during which three specific questions were explored, the book was intended to have a sense of fun. Included throughout are quotes, family photos, and additional stock images that emphasise the messages contained. This Chronicle was printed and bound using a french fold, giving it additional solidity.

Pre- and post-wedding interviews explored how the couple met, the magical proposal, reflections on their relationship and the wedding day, and their hopes for the future. Wedding photographs and speech transcripts help tell the story.
This is Anne’s life story, which wends its way through childhood and professional study, followed by a period teaching dental nursing abroad. Anne went on to marry and raise two children on a farm in the Coromandel. The book goes on to tell of her husband’s untimely death, and later, Anne’s active retirement filled with travel and volunteer work.

Nola shared her experiences of motherhood, beginning with how she was prepared for this life course as a young girl, through to marriage, the births of her seven children, and negotiating family life in rural and small town New Zealand. The sense of inevitability around being a mother is striking, and yet within Nola’s story there is also a resounding contentment with having based her life around her children, and later, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
